Joy Reboot: A Weekly Practice to Rewire Your Body for Joy

Our bodies remember.
They hold the imprints of our past—trauma, grief, stress, injustice, fear. From personal pain to collective heartbreak, many of us are carrying more than we realize. And with the rising tide of global stress—political unrest, climate change, social injustice, and deep personal loss—our nervous systems are on overload.

The truth is: we can’t sustain elevated stress and remain well.

Stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline are powerful, and unless we actively interrupt their cycle, our bodies default to the familiar patterns of worry, overwhelm, and fear.

But here’s the good news:
You don’t have to feel good to begin the practice of joy.
Joy is a skill. A habit. A choice we can train our bodies to remember.


What is Joy Reboot?

Joy Reboot is a twice-weekly 30-minute practice designed to rewire your nervous system, uplift your energy, and expand your capacity to feel good—from the inside out.

Through movement, breath, laughter, and embodied intention, we reawaken joy in the body and create new neural pathways for resilience, positivity, and peace.

You’ll be part of a joyful, compassionate community committed to practicing presence, unlearning old patterns, and anchoring the energy of delight—even in hard times.


In this class, you’ll explore:

  • The Negativity Bias and how to override it

  • Anchoring goodness and joy in the body

  • Creating new neural pathways for emotional wellness

  • How mirror neurons and positive neuroplasticity work

  • Embodying affirmations and inner encouragement

  • Breath techniques to calm and focus the mind

  • Joyful movement and laughter exercises to shift your state


This practice draws on my decades of experience in meditation, conscious movement, Laughter Yoga, energy medicine, and Grief Yoga®. It was born from my own healing journey—from trauma and loss—to joy and embodiment.
