In this informational, engaging and lighthearted presentation, Carla will offer a talk and an embodiment experience addressing the abundance of loss and grief we are all going through. You will learn about the importance of metabolizing and digesting grief, and other discordant emotions in the body; as well as the scientific and health benefits of laughter, movement and breath to restore and revitalize our bodies.
In the experiential session, we will be using movement, breath and sound to liberate the body of heavy emotions and reclaim empowerment and peace. You’ll practice Laughter Yoga exercises to release happy chemicals into your body, and GriefYoga® techniques to relieve pain and suffering.
This class is meant to give you the tools to tend and befriend uncomfortable emotions and harness their energy to reclaim inner peace, joy and a feeling of ease. A recording of the event can be found below.
